Biography
I am a research assistant at the Body, Mind and Behaviour Laboratory. I am currently working with a research team directed by Professor Simone Schnall, investigating the beneficial cognitive, affective, and behavioural effects of appreciating art, aesthetic objects, and environments. This research is part of the interdisciplinary project "Higher Values: Aesthetic Experiences, Transcendence, and Prosociality", funded by the Templeton Religion Trust.
I am also interested in artificial intelligence, and am currently exploring how society's growing interaction with large language models, like ChatGPT, may influence human relationships and cognitive skills.
I completed my MSc in Applied Statistical Modelling and Health Informatics at King's College London in September 2023. My thesis was titled "Time to Reorientation following ECT for patients with severe depression." and explored whether clinical or demographic characteristics might be associated with patients experiencing worse cognitive outcomes following electroconvulsive therapy for severe depression.
Research
I have a keen interest in social psychology, in particular, moral psychology, and its interaction with the philosophical field of aesthetics. I am also interested in artificial intelligence and its effects on human relationships.
